The *Read Then Peek*™ series follows a carefully controlled, cumulative phonics progression, one in which new skills are explicitly introduced, immediately applied, and systematically reviewed across all 30 books.

The [Scope & Sequence](https://www.thereadingleaguepress.org/hubfs/The%20Reading%20League%20Press/pdfs/read-then-peak-scope-and-sequence.pdf?hsLang=en) maps the full series, including:

- The grapheme-phoneme correspondences (GPCs) introduced in each group of three books
- High-frequency words introduced at each stage (with irregular sounds noted)
- Punctuation and structural concepts addressed along the way
- Notes on how the series scaffolds from single words to connected phrases to simple narrative

Download the Scope & Sequence for a bird's-eye view of what beginning readers will encounter and master across the full series, and feel free to share it with colleagues!
